COVID-19 - Delatite Vets New Procedures

Veterinary Care is an essential part of our community and we want to assure you that DELATITE VETERINARY SERVICES is OPEN and will continue to provide services at this time.  We also want to work with you to limit direct contact, in order to focus on the safety of everyone during this pandemic.  Accordingly, we are asking for your cooperation, for the following:

For any non-appointment enquires or purchases

  • we do ask that you call the clinic first, to discuss with staff
That way, we can arrange items to be ready for collection, with payment via EFTPOS, please- NO CASH.
  • We are also offering free, home delivery (within the township).
This includes food, flea and worming treatment and on-going or long term, medication.
  • If your pet/pets are on long term medication, it is advisable that you call us and discuss if it is necessary to have extra medication dispensed.  We have plenty of Royal Canin and Black Hawk dog and cat food in stock.

Making Appointment/ organising medications or food:

  • Please contact the clinic via telephone 5779 1754, to discuss your needs.
We request that clients call ahead rather than dropping in.
This may be to determine whether you need an ‘in-clinic’ appointment, or if a telecommunication appointment may be adequate.

  • If it deemed necessary for an in-clinic appointment, we ask that only ONE person accompany your pet to the consultation (sorry, no children).

  • You also have the choice of dropping your pet to the clinic for physical checks and the Vet will consult with you, via telephone.

  • Where we determine that a telecommunication appointment would be appropriate, you will be given an appointment time and the Vet will phone you at the allotted time.
Please note, there will still be a charge for this type of appointment.

On Arrival to the Clinic:

  • On arrival, PLEASE READ SIGNAGE located at front of clinic.  It is important that we all adhere to the 1.5m social distance rule.  This may mean a short wait outside the clinic, if it appears there is not the appropriate space in our waiting rooms.  (There is very good viewing through front, glass windows).

As always,  we are available 24/7 for ANY emergency!
